You know it's the Canada Open when the players are stringing their own rackets. Or perhaps he's stringing other players' rackets just to make a few extra $$. (It's not a lucrative trade being a professional badminton player in Canada)
Thanks for sharing your work, jyeung! Looking at tournament software, it appears that Canadian Christin Tsai gave a good challenge to US Open winner Taerattanachai in WS last night. Good pictures of her effort!
I just arrived at the Oval when Christin Tsai was playing her last few points, by then, she already ran out of steam
Amazing pics! Thank you, jyeung! Toby's squarely in the spotlight And YipPY always makes such a dynamic subject.
Those are great pictures! Thanks jyeung! Perhaps a few captions to add context for us so far away from the event. Ashton Chen, what are you doing looking at your phone?! A beautiful Olympian is lying right at your feet! Wonderful pics jyeung. I love the ones of the JPN player warming up in solitude. Looking forward to the next batch.
I would love to if I have the time, I was there yesterday from 1030am to 1030pm, took over 1300 photos, the minimum post processing I did still took a lot of time. I wish I have an assistant
Gone are those good old days when players chatted with each other face to face... instead of texting and facebooking on their smartphones.
Tks for the pics again. The lighting seems quite good and bright. I suppose the natural light from the sun thru the windows helped? What settings did you use generally?
