I barely knew about this racket until I looked on the Yonex Japan website, it says its really light 5U
the least of my concern though. taking care of my newborn right now and having the iforce lying around is.. just so.... argh!!...
Heard about that Arcsaber FB problem too. Hope Yonex did a better job this time prevent same problem happening.
exactly, but the problem having a 5U racket causes it to have less strength, at least 4U rackets aren't that fragile
just got one VTIF with 66utm at 23lb. everything is good except high clear sucks. Thing to lower tension or string to nbg98 or change racket?
iforce with nanogy 98 at 21lb. the high clear ,backhand clear is fantastic. Smashing power is darn good .better than vt70 .highly recommended.i think tension should be at 23 or 24
But overall is the Voltric i force good for intermediates and will last quite long? Cause i am now using a 3U racket and was wondering is a 5U better? Please reply.
Of course when you say that " Smashing power is darn good .better than vt70 " thats a very personal quote. Imho thats not true. I do own a VT70 and though sadly i dont own a I Force i've played with it. I felt that the power comparison was nowhere close especially due to the fact that this is a 5U version we are talking about. The I-Force might be quicker if not the same as VT70 (I must say though VT70 is pretty darn quick). But in terms of power, I felt it was really lacking in that department. Clears and especially backhand clears for me were terrible compared to my VT70,80,ZF. But then again thats just me, we are all different and play differently. I suggest go look for one that someones using in your local club/school and try it out first before you buy it. If everything dont work out for you, you can always go for the 4U version instead. Food for thought. Jahan
Voltric I force As above what do we think, very interested to hear from people who have used this racket as seriously thinking of spending the money to purchase one. I currently play with an Ashaway SL 99sq and previously played with the SL 79 round and 79sq So i prefer light med flex 4/5U Good or bad have at, also collision proof? Or majorly destroyed during clashes.
