Hi guys, does putting stencil mark with the oil based stencil ink on the surface of the string will make the string dead??? Pls share this truth or myth. Thanks.

here's something weird, a bought a few high end carlton rackets a few years ago and it's strung with carlton x67 string with the carlton logo on it. i find it played a lot stiffer than a fresh set of x67 string when i restrung my carlton vapourtrail tour. so i can't say since i think it the ink sorta dried up my string and it's more stiff which i do like :)
