Are the rackets in Taiwan cheaper compared to Malaysia?

Any shops to recommend? I am going to Taiwan for a vacation this year and I'm planning to look for rackets there.

Not really, Malaysia has one of the lowest prices around.. You really need to haggle a little in TW to get a good price.

It is also brand dependent.. Some brands like Gosen is much cheaper in Malaysia and parts of China/HK compared to Japan or other places.

Yonex SP version is pretty cheap as well, HK is also pretty cheap, though in Mainland China, genuine orices are higher and have a high ratio of fakes.

Li Ning however is generally expensive in Asia (Due to Lin Dan and other CP national team players promoting it). But over here in Canada, a Li Ning does not cost an arm and leg. I got a second hand like new N90ii a few month ago in Canada for around $100 = 300 RM...

If u are going to Taiwan then look for Taiwanese brand rackets, such as MMOA n Fleet. For 1st Tier brands like Yonex, Lining n Victor, there should not be much of a difference.

Email RKEP Eric and see if you can visit his store. He has the best prices for Victor rackets.

From my experience, Taiwan has one of the best prices for Yonex and Victor racquet. It is comparable to prices in Thailand. In fact, for Victor, some of the models are really cheap.

I got the Victor JJS at S$130 and the Victor Bumblebee 01 for about the same price too.

I remembered the ArcSaber FB cost about S$190 (NT4500) and if that's not cheap, I don't know what is. Not only that, the shop I went to, even had the 5U version which is very rare outside of Japan.
