What racquet would suit my style?
I had a sad experiance with my Carlton Aerogear 900fx so now I'm in the game for a new racquet :O:O
Right now I have a Yonex Carbonex 7000, and I'm almost considering just using that until I improve.
However, let's assume I had improved, what racquet would suit my style?
Dan's style:
-6'3" (188cm?)
-170-180 lbs.
-nice hair cut
-like to play all aspects of game, my style is whatever is best at the moment
-can generate a good amount of power (not sure how to test headspeed though)
-i live in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada... not exactly badminton central... will order off net if there's reasonably cheap shipping etc.
-will pay up to $200 CDN... I guess...
-brand not a big factor, don't really wnat much to do with carlton though, and I want to try Victor stuff out actually
-i play singles
-ill be playing a couple times a week at least
-durability is important to me, but balance between durability and control/power would be nice
-i like softer woven grips that i can hold on to easily
So my questions are:
-what racquet(s) could suit me?
-what is your opinion of the yonex carbonex 7000?
Thanks ALOT.Last edited by tropicalmouse; 12-18-2003 at 04:12 PM.

hi tropical mouse my opinion on the carbonex 7000. Rubbish sorry no power in it at all you'd be better off with an ISO 30 MF

i think he meant isometric 30, no MF, it is similar to cab7000, both have aluminium head and graphite shaft. If u want all graphite, you should look at isometric 63 MF, MP22, MP24, MP27 with 63 MF being lowest cost of the bunch. They are all 3U except MP22 (2U).
