As probably one of the better badminton players in my household, I have decided to try out for my school badminton team (high school). There will be 8 players and 2 spares, there are about 16 people trying out including myself. There are about 6 or 7 very strong players that I will not likely beat (although I haven't tried my new strategy yet), that means I'll have a lot of close games I need to win to make the main (hopefully) team. :O I love this game, I don't know why I hadn't started to play earlier. I'll keep you posted on this very key badminton information Oh and I need a new racquet, if you could help that'd be great thanks.

In my school the badminton club has try outs, unfortunately girls have to try out too. Out of about 15-20 guys we've got 2 girls, my friend and I. What can I say? Only 3 girls tried out!
that's pretty much the same at my school. we always hope that we get some decently skilled players trying out because we know that if we don't get any, we'll get slaughtered by another school (usually stacked with skilled girls)
