Hi guys I am a intermediate level doubles player and my style is very quick play.I am currently using gosen miralite 87 and is perfect for my style of play.I changed to arc saber 7 but it does not suit me since its a head heavy racket. Can u guys suggest me some options which are fast a d quick rackets.
arcsaber 7 is an even balance 3u racket, if you think it's not quick enough for you for doubles, you can try some of the mid or high end nanospeed/nanoray rackets from yonex. they tend to be more head light than the arcsaber series. however, the arcsaber flashboost is even balance but very light so that it's great for doubles and i have seen many local players switched to it and love it. from what i know, the bravesword series from victor is also even balance to a bit head heavy, but they are great rackets and because of the edges on the head frame it does give you a bit more speed in reaction.
The ARC7 is definitely not head heavy. The lack of speed may be due to the 3U weight. Having 2 layers of overgrips or 1 layer of a standard towel grip can easily make it ~97-99g. Like others have mentioned, have a look at the BS series. The new BS12L has pretty tempting specs for speedy players. Other than that, most 4U rackets will be quick enough for doubles too.
Yeah its a 3UG5 .maybe thats the reason.will check out BS12.specs and reviews are pretty good. Is the edge of the BS series the diamond sharp edge makjng the racket fast in the air??
Errrrrrr, how about a Gosen miralite 87??? Also, not to split hairs, but the Arcsaber 7 is not head heavy.
The Arc FB is fast but harder to generate power unless you have good technique. Another good choice would be Adizero pro. Though not as light as Arc FB, it is still pretty fast and the power is good.
