Hi Guys, I was thinking did anyone try this Kelme Michelin indoor shoes for badminton? It looks really nice and cheap too. Here is the link: http://www.amazon.com/Kelme-Micheli...8&qid=1375751324&sr=8-1&keywords=indoor+shoes
For intermediates it is OK but they might not last as well as badminton shoes. Badminton shoes have better support because your feet can move into all directions whereas in soccer they move forward 95% of the time. Soccer shoes will not last if your footwork improves a lot n you play more singles than doubles. Soccer games is nowhere as punishing as badminton on one's feet/shoes. $110 is cheap? In southeast asia, those prices are for JAPANESE MADE YONEXES. You'll be better off buying online. Check out the marketplace for online stores' profiles n see which one delivers to US. Even US $40 badminton shoes from e78.com.hk will outlast those soccer shoes.
Select a size and then you will see they are just under $40 but I'm with you that one should rather buy badminton specific shoes than this.
Select size, I purchased one for $39, which is not bad at all. I understand your point btw, less support to ur ankle. The reviews I read so far says that those are some real quality rubber(Michelin) underneath, last longer with rough use. I play more doubles than singles. Anyway, I will try to update my view on this shoe once I try it. Also Btw is this site legit? e78.com.hk which you posted?
Very legit, the owner is a nice guy but does not speak much english. He can ask someone to translate n reply if u email him. I bought from him 4 rackets when I was there last year.
