Tough questions... To be generalized, NR800 is more recommended for doubles, see those Denmark WD pair and Hendra Setiawan of Indonesia. It is a head-light and stiff racket which is potentially to swing faster. Which one better for smashing will depend on the player's technique.
The Acrsaber 11 is even balanced, leading towards head heavy. I've been trying out the Arcsaber 10 for Singles and Doubles and if you like smashing and having control in doubles, I would try the Arcsaber 11 but also the Nanoray 800 is head light and you have more control but you might need to put more effort into your smashes. Try them out for you know which one is right for you
I had been using Nanoray 800 for doubles games for 4 months until the frame gave way recently. As mentioned above, it's head light thus easy to maneuver and is quick. However, I haven't been smashing as well with this racket compared to the Amortec series I was using previously.
arcsaber 11 if your a backcourt player, nanoray 800 if your in the front. If you play both positions with no prob then arcsaber 11.
100% agreed with u, Nanoray 800 is more faster, in term of swinging force. so defense could be easy.. Arcsaber11 like overall and little bit of Heavy Head, so Smash will be more Punch effect.. For me, i choose Arcsaber 11, since i do like to kill the rally by 'Smash'.
after playing my nanoray800 3u strung with nanogy98 @ 24x25lbs, i felt that it's not that head light. if anything, it's light, but a tiny tiny bit head heavy balance. i have no problem with my smashes and i also have no problem with other shots as well. i must say the shaft is a bit stiffer than medium stiff. i play doubles 60% of the time and singles 40% of the time. i use it for both. as far as the weight of the racket itself, it's just perfect, light enough for doubles and heavy enough for singles.
