Hello all! This is my first time posting here and I need some help in choosing a racket to buy from the ones stated above. I currently use the Yonex Arcsaber 10PG and Li ning n90ii woods. Moreover, I am an intermediate player who likes to control the shuttle with precision and an explosive smash. Love singles but I usually play doubles with friends due to insufficient courts in clubs. Hopefully y'all will be so kind to help, and sorry for my English!:crying:
Well, the tension in my arc10pg is at 22lbs so I need a racket which can withstand a higher tension(yes, i know the n90ii can do that). And they both produce less "power" to the smashes. Well, tbh, I like my current rackets, just that I want a new one so I can get adjusted to the new head heavy rackets or other types. I know I sound immature..sorry! Idk know how to put it in words
Max tension on arc pg is 24. So I kept it at 24. For the n90ii I changed it to 24. Well, what racket would you recommend? I'm just trying to ponder over these choices.
For precision I'd say the MX 80 is definitely tops out of the 4 choices and certainly no slouch in the power department. But it's a heck lot stiffer than the arc 10 and somewhat stiffer that the n90ii plus it has much more feedback compared to either racket.
What does the stiffness in the racket bring about? If possible can someone compare these rackets? Thanks for replying guys
Even though it's suggesting that's the highest you go, I'm sure the arc 10 pg can withstand higher... My nanospeed 100 mid end racquet withstands 25 my arc saber 009DX around 26 ish there's no limit. Unless you're doing that to not void the warranty.

u can always add another 2 lbs to the recommended tension bro... why dun u try 26 lbs for ur racket n see what will happen then... the higher the tension, the heavier the frame will be gudluck

I would have to say MX 80 since I'm using that now too haha. But I have had the ZF and N90 before and found them far too slow and sluggish for a high paced doubles game. Even at the lightest end of 4U the z force was quick enough but lacked the punch of a 3U racket. Personally I find that out of the 4 rackets only the MX 80 has the best amount of head weight to be a superb control racket plus be fast and powerful enough for doubles the rest just pull on the wrist too hard for one to recover quick enough.
u should stick to what you've got. n90-2 is a great racket. it's just a tad less head heavy than vt80 and noticeably less stiff (not too flex, though). vt80 in 3U is a pain in the butt to play doubles and even in singles - if you play 5-6 games in a row, your performance will drop greatly even if you have a strong wrist. z-force is even stiffer than vt80, therefore - even more demanding. n90-2 is much much more user friendly racket and still it has great control an power. I sure hope yours is not a fake one. because i don't see how you'd wanna swith to another racket from it. I also have N55 first gen, it feels very similar to n90-2, a little less head heavy, with about the same stiffness. Very nice racket too. haven't tried the mx80, only have a BSLYD. haven't played with n90 first gen, but had a couple of swings in the shop - it's very head-heavy and pretty stiff. Very hard to use for fast MD game, like vt80, maybe even worse.

All these flexy Li-Ning ratings makes you wonder if there really is a difference between later productions and the original releases. I believe in coach Paul's review, the N90-II was a x-stiff mudder. Initial review of N55 here was that it was a stiffer version of ARC10, etc. But I believe N50 was a less stiff version of Ti-10 on the other hand Sounds like the Fu Haifeng racket might be something suitable here: F9?
i have n90-ii, not classic, they say that classic is a little head lighter. bslyd is very nice, it's a little head-heavier then arc10 or arc11, a little stiffer (not too much though), very fast - great for doubles and still packs a very nice punch. played quite a few of singles with it too and it was quite nice.
