SmashingBird don't like to smash

    BADMINTON SKILL: I think somewhere between beginnger and intermediate-wannabe

    I came up with the name "Smashingbird" because I couldn't think of another name and is quite misleading because I don't like to smash and am not good at it therefore I have no confidence in smashing. I like to play a rallying game in singles, longer the better, no matter who wins the point. In doubles I like to play drives and defend blocking smashs,ect. :D

    How it Started:Joinning school team in grade 11 years to meet more friends then played at a church my friend invited me to and started to like it more. Got more interested and took lessons and playing at club.

    BC/BF/BR

    Searched badminton on yahoo or google and came across this site.

    Other Interests
    Playing computer games. Going out.

    You are improving a lot over the last little while. Since I have not played against you that much in the last few months but I've noticed that your footwork has improved and you are getting around the court faster and under control. Keep it up and one thing that you might enjoy is to start competing in some of the local tournaments.

    That picture only shows a mere jump. In fact, I didn't even Smash in that pictures(TTT and Wood 22 Chuck) and tell you. I mistimed the jumping distance as the bird landed like 4 feet in front of me. I ended up jumping(in that pix) then landing..and told an extra step then hit the bird while I m on the ground.

    If SB is a beginner, then, old LB needs to learn how to grip the racket from the way beginning.

    Actually, i do need to learn that. :rolleyes:

    note: everyone, its 3am in the morning, my bday passed 3 hours ago and why the heck is all the vancouver bfers logged on at 3am?...is it the weather?..lol
