I have just got a new Yonex racket bag but there are so many pockets. What do you put in all the different pockets? I don't have a clue.

Which bag do you have? My Yonex bag has 5 pockets (Two big pockets, two "shoe" pockets, and one small side pocket).

One of the big pockets is used for racket storage. The other pocket is used for carrying tubes of shuttles, grip wraps, etc. One "shoe" pocket is obviously meant for carrying my shoes. The other shoe pocket is obstructed by the rackets so putting anything large in that pocket is out of the question. The side pocket is for miscellaneous materials like deodorant, cell phone, bandages, etc.

Don't worry the crap will soon build up like the rest of us and you'll soon be needing a larger one before you know it.

You are supposed to attach two straps on the loop at the shoe compartments (back) and the other end of each strap to the loops at the sides of the main racket compartments (front), so that the straps run the length of the bag.

If you are looking from above they form an upside down V shape starting at the loop in between the two shoe compartments coming forward and outwards slightly to finish up at the two loops either side of the main compartments. One on each side.

So you're suppose to use both of them?? And when you carry it you sling both on the same shoulder?

I think the easier way is to carry one on each shoulder. Exactly the same as the regular school backpack.

This way works great for ppl who carry tons of stuff in their bags.

Personally, I think let the zippers for the main compartments facing in should be a good idea. This way, u won't worry about stuff will slip out (forgot to zip up) or ppl on purposely stole you stuff without any notice (hope never happen, but who knows ppl these days... )

i agree with the zippers facing for security reasons. however i think that having the zippers out would make it more comfortable carrying (bottom of the bag/flat part to your back).

Overall i really don't prefer using the backpack method..the two straps are annoying whereas one makes it less of a hassel to carry.

One strap over each shoulder just like a backpack with the shoe compartments being at the top, zips should face your back as you carry.

Along with being safer it's more comfortable
