Surprised to learn that CHN WS Qin Jinjing beat Busanan for gold, 2-1(19-21,21-17,21-16) in 83 mins. In the 1/8 Finals, Qin JJ also defeated Liang Xiaoyu, 2-0 (21-11,22-20) in 43 mins. Looks like Qin JJ is a player to watch out for in the future.
Not bad for CHN. In MS, Shi Yuqi beat the 16-yr-old INA sensation Jonathan Christie in the QF before finally taking bronze and Lin Guipu, another Lin, won gold.
