Read about these a while back and just bumped into them at a few (online) Japanese retailers:

SHB-65X is already for sale in Rakuten. Got these photos from one of the online stores. Here's a more detailed look of the white version. I fancy this over the orange version as it has a better color combination of white/black/red/silver.

I'm sure they will play fine, but sure seems like there is a lot of foam at the 3/4 and heel cup. Almost SC series like.

I wonder if these will be distributed globally. I asked a shop in hk whether they would be stocking these and they haven't even heard of them!

We are talking about a Japanese brand here. So Japan would definitely be getting it first. On top of that, this SHB series always has a different SP product code. Their 'retired' model: SHB-65FT (JP) and SHB-86EX (SP). Yonex would need to take a while longer to release the SP counterpart.

Quite strange how this one is flying under the radar, it's not even up on the Yonex JP website yet?!

Came across another actual pic on one of the stores' blog some days ago and includes the red (;)) version as well. At least they (the 65X) are not as cheesy looking as I originally thought :D (with that silver strip and all)

I have been using these for one week now, feels just as comfortable as my 65ft jp. support is better, stiffer when pouncing. the heels feels slightly higher too. there are less mesh on the surface, durability wise this wont last as long however.

I have just found my new pair of badminton shoes ;)
I've had my SHB-65FTs for over a year and still loving them :) When they break, they are being put in a glass case ;) for people to see :p

My pair went straight to the bin... lol.

But for anyone who's worried about Quattro fit, don't be because I have wide feet and I was a little bit skeptical at first, turns out it fits in really well. I only wish the heels were slightly lower.

I'm not worried about Quattro fit, I'm worried to find a replacement for the SHB-65FT which I like alot :)
