Looking for a place to play in Markham

    Hey. I'm looking for a place to play Badminton in Markham. Unfortunately I just moved here so I don't know anybody to book courts with, and it seems drop in at the clubs is only during the work day.

    I'm looking for someplace/people to play with a few nights a week anytime between 5:30 and 10:00 in the evening. I'm a 30 year old white male in case that matters.

    I'd say my skill level is high intermediate but unfortunately I haven't played at all in the last 2 years, so it will probably take a bit to get back to the level I was previously playing at.

    I checked out Everyday Badminton, but it seems their only drop in play time is before 5:00 PM, when I work until, and I don't have anybody to book a court with.

    You may want to try our club on Monday 830-1030 at the Sir John A McDonald starting Sept 9. We are currently looking for members. See the post in the forum for details or pm me.

    Try the drop in sessions offered by the City of Markham or nearby Richmond Hill.

    thanks for the suggestion! Unfortunately it looks like they cancelled the drop in Badminton sessions, They ran 3-5pm (when I'm at work) anyhow though.
