    Dear all,

As seen in RKEP grip thread, I realised that different colour affects the tackiness of the grip sold by Eric. However, I am wondering if colors do affect the tackiness of the AC102EX grips? Does anyone have such experience to share with our fellow BC forumers?

    Thanks

    Best regards,
    Warlock86

I've tried the purple, green and red and they all feel pretty much the same to me.

Hey Yuki, thanks for the reply. I have been using the white and orange ones for a few months but I don't feel much difference as well. However, the white grip gets dirty really quick for me. As such, I am thinking of getting black ones.

Personally, I do think different colors affect the tackiness. I remembered using the black AC120EX couple years ago and it wasn't tacky as per say white or yellow. Could be the way I grip my racket has changed. My personal favorite is pink (I'm male and straight, haha) but I got a good deal on white AC120EX so I'm stocked up on white.

I agree. I used the black grips a while ago. Now I'm using bright green, orange or white grips and they don't lose tackiness so fast like the black ones. Maybe it's just a "mind"-thing. Or you got maybe the feeling because you change the bright grips faster (unintentionally) than dark/black grips because you see it easier when they get dirty :p

Not sure about the colours but you can keep the durability really well and the tackiness by not stretching it as much.

You should probably wash your hands more often ^_^

I use white and they stay white through play

Always match my string colour with the grip. Well top of the list is white and lime green/yellow. It also easy to see if it gets dirty means its time to replace it

I'm using orange AC102EX, after few sessions, the color seems to slightly "peel-off" or taint the color of white-overgrip attached on the backup rackets!

the lighter the color = the more tackiness

i assume the darker dyes render the polyurethane coating less effective
