Hi Jonas! Jonas, I saw the whole final game and it looked like more you lost it rather than they won it. I thought you had too many unforced errors. How did you review it? How was it different from the world championship game? Did Chandra change their strategy? What i saw missing from your game was yr quick anticipation at the net. Will you be willing to tell us more on this? One last question, what did you tell Chandra at the end of the game when you were all shaking hands? Anyhow, it was an exciting game to watch. There is still tomorrow and the game could not be bigger than life itself. Rgds. Gunawan
Hi Jonas, one of the things I noticed from re-watching your Mens Doubles games at the World Championships was that you seemed to attack better when Lars was at the back and you were at the front. Is this something you actively try to do ? Or do you end up in this orientation because you tend to attack the net more than Lars does? regards, Neil
Hi Jonas, Sorry you lost, but you already won a lot this year. But joy has come late of Candra/Halim, the last tournament of the year to win their first title together. Anyway i didn't get to see the match, so i hope to hear more about it here and hopefully get a video of it!
maybe JR does not want to give public information about his tactics and strategy, which would be understandable...
Short of time!! Hi Fabcargo!! Sometimes I don´t have much and don´tget to write as much as I want on Badmintonforum. Shaking hands with Candra at the end like I did was to say that I had no hard feelings about the incident. Sometimes temper flares openly in these kind of matches, but afterwards I respect Candra and Halim as being better on the day. They played really fast in the Masters and we didn´t have the weapons to defend against that at the time. Weål be better prepared next time of course. Youàe right about the antipacion at the net. We didn´t kill so many shuttles at the net as in the final of the Wotld Championships. That was one of the reasons we didn´t win. Again, sorry for the late answer. I try my best!! Kind Regards Jonas
You've tried your best JR. We the BadmintonForums guys/gals will be behind supporting you all the way.
You know, we lowly, recreational, aspiring-to-better-our-game badminton players just pressured a WORLD CHAMPION player to shape up, sit down at a computer, and post more frequently, right? JR, just having your insights and inputs is phenomenal! -dave
Dear Jonas, Tks for yr reply. Appreciate yr comments. I wish you the best in the next big tournament.
