Hi, I bought Li Ning Digital ECP Stringing Machine.

My questions are as follow :
    1. What is the pre stretch function? What is the purpose and the importance of using that function?

    2. If i want to do 4 knots, how can I cut the strings into 2 pieces of main and cross string?

    3. Do I have to starts a knots for the start of the stringing?

    4. Do I have to increase 2 lbs on cross section?

hope you people can helps me out!

    Thanks in advance!

    1. Pre- stretch. Strings will loosen a little after stringing. Pre-stretch helps minimise it.

    2. Use scissors or a handy knife.

    3. Not for mains

    4. Not absolutely mandatory.

How much did your machine cost?

    MYR 7500.

for the second one, what is the measurement for main and cross string respectively? I mean do i have to cut the for 5 meter each?

do adding 2 lbs cross will maintain the string tension longer?

    2. Measure out the 5 m then have one side around 40 cm longer and that long string will be your main
    4. Every machine and skill is different so try same tension, +2, +10% on three different racquets and see which one hits the best

    Hi there axis,

May I know if you are operating a badminton store or did you bought the machine for the sake of interest in stringing ?

I would also like to know where did you bought the machine from and do they have any other models which is more economically budget...?

I am interested in learning on stringing racket but the cost of machine is quite high...

I am working at badminton store. As assistant manager and branch manager... :)
This machine was bought through my friends whom recommended this machine for me and I have advised my boss to buy this. Then, I was given permission to buy this. Last time, I was being offered an ECP Machine with RM6000 only..
If you have more budget, I can try to ask my friends, but if you had less budget you can try the crank machine first. :)

    based on my experience ...
    1. Pre-stretch to kill the memory-coil
    2. assuming you have 10m, then cut (5m + 1 ft) for Main, and rest for Cross
    3. Always start from the middle, you have sophisticated machine, why you the non -standard one ?
    4. I always do it.

but with the price of RM 7500, it seems that it is not a sophisticated machine ... sorry to say that.

Because i was taught stringing racket by stringing the string 1st. :D
This is the first one i use ecp. So, i am still newbie, yeah, because of low budget, i had to opted for this mechine, if budgets were not the prob, i would go for protech8 of course. ;)
