Hi all, A friend of a friend is selling a Voltric 80 relatively cheap. I am interested but noticed a few things about the racquet that has made a tad suspicious. I know most yonex racquets have a detailed sticker on the shrink wrap but this feels somewhat lacking in detail, also the shrink wrap itself seems wrong. Am I right in my suspicions or is it just me being paranoid? The racquet is strung with BG65 @ 24lb's. I've included pictures to help you all judge.. Any feedback would be appreciated and thanks in advance!
looks fake to me. code is not very correct? maybe some code expert can come in, the engraving is a bit off too also the yonex on the butt cap doesnt look correct especially at the edges. bag looks wrong too... at least most of my jp racquets came with only cloth bag, and my vt80s come with a cover case that has a distinct shape at the head, not rounded.. 3U vt80 is stringable up to 27 lbs.. not 24lbs..... u can see the mistake at the cone
so many things wrong in this one.. wrong cone code and shaft serial cheap looking and wrong bag (JP code racket will have soft cloth bag instead of standard bag) wrong grip (that grip is for arcsaber, not for votric) final verdict: FAKE
