Hi guys this racket was given to me as a gift back when i was in high school and i've had it since 2003 and recently found in my garage while i looking for something and the last time i used it was when i was in high school in 2007, and decided want to sell it and since i don't play anymore and thought i'd better sell to someone who'll put it to good use. I'm not sure of what to price this racket, tried searching online but couldn't find and Armortec 700 US 4U G4 used condition few scratches no dents. everything is original from what i can remember Weight & Grip : 4UG4 Shaft Code : 4479206 Cone Code : 050835US Hope you guys can help! thanks!
Wow. You have THE Holy Grail of all Yonex Rackets..... in mint condition, this thing can fetch as high as USD 200+... even higher.....
wow its good to know its worth up to that amount and maybe higher. hopefully i can find someone who'd want it. what makes this the holy grail of all yonex rackets?
argh! if not for the paintchips or scratches i would have been most interested i dont know.. perhaps this racquet had an illustrious history.. taufik hidayat's use of it in generating his fastest forehand and backhand smash? lindan's early adoption of it and did rather well and how his current N90 appears to be based on it.. if i'm not wrong though, peter gade and taufik spent more time with the at700 gen 2 than the gen1, but the gen 1 seems to be getting all the attention.
I have not watched any game of Taufik or Peter Gade with AT700 Gen 2 but well... Taufik was very well known to change his racket for so many times until his later career with Arc10, Arc Z-Slash and Arc11. Actually, AT700 Gen 1 is not the only one. If you notice, there are some Yonex rackets which can be classified as "legendary" rackets. Just to name a few of them, for examples are Cab20, Iso 500/800, MP99/100 and Ti10 Gen 1. I assume that they were the historical icons of Yonex technology footprints. We can look forward and see how the VT80 or VTZF will be sought after in the next... let's say 10 years from now
peter gade used a gen I from 2005-2006, and a gen-II from 2006-2008 there abouts.. taufik.. i'm not too sure
Thanks vajrasattva... I never knew that Well, so popular is AT700 that we've seen other versions following the 1st Gen. The 2nd Gen, 2008 Olympic Limited, "Superbarands" Limited and Premium 2012. Or any other else ?
Here in China mainland, old generation AT700 attracts so much attention that the price is amazingly high. Good for having a AT700 of the year 203.
thats what ive been hearing also hopefully i can get a buyer for it, i dont mind selling it internationally, buyer just needs to handle the shipping payments if they want it.
for here in the US ill do 220 shipped. international we'll have to work it out some how since its so explensive.
It's been such a long time since I've seen one of these. I mostly see the 2nd gen floating around instead. Good luck selling
I'm most definitely interested. Maybe you could keep me in the back of your head for now? As I need a little bit of time to think about it.
alright just let me know if you have any questions, just incase you curious the measurements for the box i have it in now it Length = 8 inches Height = 28 inches Width = 7 inches. so you can calculate/verify the shipping from california to germany. i will be using usps (united states postal service to ship)
