not really. this Korean pair looks like a new pairing to me, they may not have an high ranking but they surely will lately...and don't forget Lee Yong Dae was an Olympic XD champion !

Not really. I've had the pleasure for seeing Shin Seung Chan and her WD partner Lee So Hee playing at the Singapore open this year. Iirc they competed at the juniors last year and I managed to watch a few clips on youtube. She's a pretty good player. Only thing she lacks is experience at the super series level of play which she has been steadily getting slowly over the year now. She's young fast and definitely a pretty solid all round player. Whether she makes a good partner for LYD though will remain to be seen over time but I think it should be interesting to watch this XD pairing even if you aren't a fan

Today's QF matches will be started on 12.00pm local time : http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sp...8-5FD3B9443235

Four local MS players advanced into last eight round while KOR XD pairs have secured 5 of 8 slots, also 4 pairs in WD category.

Interesting clashes : Axelsen v Hsu JH, Son WH v Chou TC, Sung JH v Porntip, Busanan v Bae YJ.

Well, 2 INA representatives will face tough QF opponent, KOR pairs are the fave to win.

If you say the WR#1, who has been the runner up of Malaysia, India, Indonesia, Singapore SS, not to mention winning Korea SSP is going downhill, I guess u need to say hi KKK/TBH lol. Losing in one tournament early once is not considered a downhill...

Sung JH has mental barrier once again to finish the game, 20-16 and her opponent grabbed 5 consecutive points, luckily she took game 1, 23-21.

LYD/KSH's woes aren't over it seems, this time stunned by the unfancied INA pair Kurniawan/Septano. Well done to the latter.
