i have yet to see a province team in China use these rackets.

there are 34 provinces in China, the famous ones are using "proper" brands like Kason, etc.

the ones who are using these generic rackets must be low in budget.

imho, it is just a marketing ploy. like many things in China, you cannot naively believe what they say.

No I didn't think that for one second, I just wondered if anyone had tried them and if they were any good. I also wondered what the writing on the racket and bag said.
I'm guessing they are very low quality rackets.

Yes, there are no such thing as a "provincial team". Each province as its own deal with providers

Ok thanks for that. I'm guessing they aren't very good quality so I won't risk trying one.

my aunt was in the jiansu provincial team and then moved on to the national team and she used yonex personally, those rackets are just rackets for people who forget theirs, which never happens, they stay in a closet and dont go anywhere

I bought one of these rackets in a local shop around my area.
It under the brand name "Crystal". It's a pretty stiff racket and demanding racket to use. IMO. It's also shorter in length compared to the new rackets that are out now. Perhaps making it a bit more demanding to use.
Quality wise it does seem very durable and well made.

I also bought one of these when I was last in china. It was also advertised as provincial team training equipment. Got it strung with BG65 at 26lb and played at the local provincial training facility with some local members. The racket's shaft is slightly shortened, handle is slightly longer. It played as stiff as my MX80 and had balance close to my AT900T. I had a clash with one of the members and I broke his Arc7 without as much as a paint chip on mine. Tough little guy.
One thing about this racket though is the variation from batch to batch. I handled a couple of them while at the store and they were very different. The stiffness and head weight was all over the place. I guess now they just sorted them painted them different colours. For 200RMB you get what you paid for.

Thanks for all your replies, I will keep an eye on the eBay auctions and if one is very cheap I may try one. Dave
