Hi Andy, Your the first person I have seen located in Northern Ireland. Whats the badminton like there? I have family there, and sometimes check for a website on northern ireland, but all i can find in the badmintonireland site, its good, but is this the only one? doesnt seem to be a website for the NI team, is there one? as I remember watching a NI player play in the commonwealth games.

    Hi James,

The badminton in Northern Ireland isnt that strong. The badminton is like the rugby team and Northern Ireland play as Ireland. A few of my friends played at the commonwealth games but that as you say would have been as the northern ireland team.

Most clubs in Ireland are small church clubs.

I play at one of the largest (if not the largest club) in Ireland, Alpha. Which also serves as the national badminton centre.

    Hi Panhandle,

Would that be the University of Ulster or Queens University? I havent bumped into raj yet. does he play in northern ireland?

It is right in the centre of Belfast. Queens University has a badminton club but i think it is more of a social club than anything else.

The standard fluctuates every year or so.

Do you know if your friend plays at the University?
