Anyone know about these shoes? I can't find any information about them on the Yonex official website, and yet online stores seem to be selling them: http://www.mybadmintonstore.com/sho...rency=NZD&cPath=25_28_34_195&products_id=1729 Eric from RKEP informs me that they are the "newer version" of the SHB-92MX. Can anyone verify this?
You kidding? Eric is usually quite reliable with his information I thought. He just quoted that he'd sell me these shoes for US$115 including shipping - that doesn't sound "low end" to me. Where's your source of information please? By the way, is there actually a direct replacement/upgrade for the SHB-92MX? I thought the SHB-01's were it, but they are completely different - "Quattro Fit" as opposed to "Ergoshape". Ergoshape suits me best because I have relatively wide feet.
I saw them on a UK website voor <50GBP a while back. Though at first they might be a successor to SHB-92 as well when I first saw them ... but the lack of "technologies" in them lead me to believe otherwise. Else I'd have already posted them by now . Yes "almost". I hope you were already told Santa Claus doesn't exist . This shoe is more like the SHB-F1R (F1 Replica) so maybe there will be an actual SHB-95MX as well. Here is a scan from the upcoming Autumn/Winter TW catalogue I just bumped into (you can just about make out the power cushion is only single layer, not [3 layers] like a top model; save & zoom). Also noticed a SHB-85WEX there but no "new" tag so perhaps I missed the news there . Can't get a google result on it though ...
I think it has already stopped production, not listed on any Yonex homepage anymore. Maybe the F1 already was the replacement for it? Found another colourway for SHB-95s, as sold in Europe @ Decathlon for ~€50 euro, plus the blue one from Direct Sport. Saw the original/normal colour sold @ $620HKD at Luxis Sport website just now
