I got this racket tonight and the storekeeper said that the Y-joint (see the picture) would has better control than T-joint. Anybody has experience on it?? In fact that this racket's technology is 16 years before and I have seem somebody using this racket in All England Open when I was small.
hard to answer. 1. control is a word that is not too well define in general 2. relative to which racquet?
I have cut the string and hang it up, so I would have no chance to test it. In tennis, Y-joint would provide less torique hit, so the shopkeep claim that Y-joint will have better control. But I think there is something different in badminton world, so the Y-joint is not popular in badminton.
cool looking racket! isnt it heavy tho? the head shape slightly looks like an iso racket. i thought that was a new technology?
The weight is only 2U, the head is not heavy. I have seem the similar design used in All England Open for more than 16 years. But in fact that it is quite fresh for me. If I can get another one, I must try it.
