never tried the shb98 and i dont really plan to. thats way outta my price range. sorry. if you want to know, wilson's tennis shoes are made with the same technology and those last for awhile on the court and feel light and comfortable.

Seems the last one ("Boost") is special designed for badminton, as it's printed in the catalog.

in the catalouge, it specifically says indoor sports. sorry that its not in color, but its the same undersole material as found in vollyball shoes and other badminton shoes. and now a days, alot of shoes are designed to look like basketball shoes because thats what will attract sales.

lol, how could i missed that:confused:

Anyway, my initial impression was based on the toe area being arched up(too much angle). I like my foot to have maximum contact with the floor.

    Have to agree.

The 1st time I saw 98MID, I thought it was more for basketball than badminton. :D

arched up a bit higher so you can go on your toes a bit easier and quicker

    Pretty good deal

...considering that the wholesale price is more than $40 except for the cheaper priced one.
