Does anyone know how to recycle broken graphite or alloy racquets in Australia??? Do we just dump them in the standard household recycling bins or is there a specific procedure for recycling badminton racquets?
i have not thrown away any of my dead rackets. i think i am sentimental type of guy, each racket has fought a lot of battles with me, kinda like the samurai's sword...
I remember my friend broke his racquet and then got drunk afterwards and totally destroyed the racquet on the wall of a big mall. It is was soooo jokes, I would never do that though.
Burnt one of my racket in the name of science. Othewise they sit in the cupboard for dust collection while I recycle the grommets for other rackets that are still alive.
except samurai's sword would prolly never break since they're so carefully made... manually unlike rackets today
well, you can just take out the frame and just use the shaft and handle as a big stick in outdoor BBQ!!
here is one idea. find a racket cover, or glue a cardboard or whatever on the racket head, and use it for swing practice...
