CNG is history while some who played in China Masters gave walkovers here. Only a handful of CHN players who played in last 2 tournaments are still here. There are also some non CHN players who played in China Masters here. This sort of even things out except MS where LCW is the overwhelming favourites. He could win it even wearing an eye patch.
I have to say, CL has serious problems when he against those players ranking below 200, for example, Kazuteru Kozai and Lin Dan
He used to play for TONAMI but is recently assigned as coach for a university here in Kyoto called Ryukoku, which btw is one of the strongest universities in the Kansai area. Within Japan his highest rank was 7 in MS and apparently he still within top 10.
Chen Long blamed his first round shock defeat to a qualifier on the tight schedule of the BWF. That is not exactly correct as he can pick the non-premier BWF-sponsored tournaments to compete so long as he plays a certain number of BWF tournaments. He didn’t play the China Masters last week and that should give him, a young man, enough rest after the CNG. Obviously his stature has been badly tarnished and he just wanted to justify his loss so that, perhaps, his big boss, LYB, would not sideline him.
Aya lost tamely to Yui who is fitter and better court coverage. Aya's game is very one dimensional, need more improvement and this is a good exposure for her. Hope she'll do better in senior circuits in the future. In the meantime, Sayaka Takahashi demolish Linda, she looks fast and Linda seems hampered by her movement. Is she a bit heavier or bog down by injury?
Already told you guys thousands and millions of times: CNG is the BIGGEST EVENT of every CHN player's career....CL's is physically and emotionally exhausted lah, esp after Lin Dan just announced he will still be around Why you still ask eh?
Wow, you're pretty swift in grabbing the moment... and your observation is very sharp as well, well noted!
Re Chen Long -- Perhaps we should be cutting the guy some slack. Anyone can have get tired and run up against an incredibly motivated opponent. Do people really have so much awe of the Chinese training system that they forget that its members are human and not a machines?

Then be a gracious loser and give credit to your opponent, instead of pointing fingers.
If he looked back and sees Han Li, I dunno where he is going to hide his face.
