    Interesting matches :

    - Marc Zwiebler (GER) v Kenichi Tago (JPN)
    - Eriko Hirose (JPN) v Wang Yihan (CHN)
    - Han Li (CHN) v Tai Tzu Ying (TPE)

The biggest upset so far happened yesterday when Chen Long succumbed to local hope Kazuteru Kozai. Will the giant killer Kozai continue his journey today?

Round of 16 is already started, 10.00am local time and using 4 courts.

Pia/Rizki are winning, 21-19 ; 19-21 ; 17-10 against JPN WD. Surprising that Japan WD could force Pia/Rizky to the full distance.

On paper, both Kenichi Tago and Jorgensen are potential contender from bottom-half draw to cruise into Sunday's final.

    Re-post to correct thread:
Aya lost tamely to Yui who is fitter and better court coverage. Aya's game is very one dimensional, need more improvement and this is a good exposure for her. Hope she'll do better in senior circuits in the future. In the meantime, Sayaka Takahashi demolish Linda, she looks fast and Linda seems hampered by her movement. Is she a bit heavier or bog down by injury?
