I just read a post of a member says to use nail polish to cover up the chip marks, does this work? What will you guys do?
Best is auto paint, but that can be a bit expensive and harder to match colours. Nail polish is cheaper and easier.
You'd be surprised what colours you can find at the cosmetic counter. Anyways higher chance of orange colour there than at the auto supply store.
Dollar Store. I just use my wife's stuff to paint over my TK8000. Get married or get a girlfriend so you don't have to spend money on nail polish!
sir, getting married (which i found out the hard way) or getting a girlfriend is way more expensive than a few dollars for a bottle of nail polish
i'm still trying to find a racket that plays like the nanoray800, but at around 70-80USD so if i clash and break a racket, it's not going to put a hole in my wallet to replace
The XP70 if you pick a light and low to mid bp one (like 84g/290-295mm) feels very much like the NR800 that my friend had.
Hey , I have an interesting way of ensuring that your new racket will never chip or leave paint. This can also prevent possible damage to rackets due to collisions. Believe me you do it once, you will really thank me. Whether you have a new racket or an old one, use Araldite standard epoxy all over the frame or at top part where the possibilities of loosing paint are more. Spread it carefully ensuring the epoxy does not get into the grommet holes. Leave it for 14 hours, what it will do is create a transparent film over the existing paint and once it is set, it will never get off. Also this will not add more than 1 gm weight which is negligible. I did it on my new racket and wallah , not a single scratch during the last 4 months. I found this the best way to take care of the racket and thought of sharing will all of you. Do comment if you wish to try this method.
Get a stiff racket. Whenever i crashed my racket with my double partner, my partner will feel the pain (of fear of getting new racket) but mine wont feel a thing. Stiff racket works for me to getting good control and power.
Rackets sometimes clash, that's life. Paint chips are nothing to think about even for a second! The racket is a tool, no matter what it looks like... I would play a pink-green-gold racket with 100 paint-chips if it suited my style of play...
