Default deltoid injury i think? Remedies?

Hey people, I hope you guys can give me some advice on my injury.

A week ago as I was moving some heavy furnitures and also playing tennis with a relatively high tension might have cause my deltoid around that area to be in pain when i play. One day when I woke up oddly it felt like i slept on my shoulder(near the deltoid area) and it hurts(mild pain, not sharpe). As i play badminton, whenever i smash or clear by hitting a birdie it hurts(sometimes when i do a full swing it has a sharpe pain). Especially when i try to smash, but it doesnt hurt when i normally just lift my arm or shadow some smash movement. What advice would you give to speed up the recovery or perhaps strengthen it? Does anyone know the correct diagnosis for this? lol

    Thanks

Hey guys, so i assume this is a rotator cuff problem. Over this past week, i notice some recovery now i don't experience much pain from regular activity, i can even clear and smash with (just minor minor pains). But sometimes when i over swing it, it hurts again (the pain is not as sharp as last time) . Im pretty sure its not swollen or anything but i was wondering if i should use heat treatment to make it recover faster.

Rotator cuff problem is quite common among badminton player. Should definitely do some strengthening exercises. They definitely help. The most important one is side lying external rotation.

ok guys, i really need some advice now.

So its been roughly 2 weeks, i notice theres no pain anymore when i move my overhead or in any motion. No pain. But somehow i still get some pain when i smash in badminton. To be honest with you I haven't really rest and played every other day. Because i thought since i dont feel much pain. I seriously dont think its a tear cause i heard it hurts if you simple just lift your arm up. What should i do to recover faster. It's getting to annoy me since i barely smash when i play nor can i clear as well.

I agree on the ib, and def rest. Not sure how old you are but I need a couple days in between.
however if there is no swelling, do heat instead.
ice for when there is swelling
