    Hi

    Is anyone playing at the Stanford open on Saturday the 18th? Are you travelling form the San Mateo area? My wife is unfortunately taking our car to LA and I am having to resort to getting the bus which will not arrive until just before 8am, or If someone can pick me up from University ave Caltrain station and give me a lift to the hall it would be much appreciated

    Thank you

    freeheeler,

    let me get this straight.

    your wife is going on a trip to LA. instead of going there with her, you let her take the car and instead go for a badminton tournament alone??

    cool. :)

    sorry. i won't be around that weekend, otherwise i wouldn't mind giving a fella BFer a lift...

    freeheeler,

    Maybe you can email the organizer (I assume Stanford Badminton club), and see if you can receive any help from them. They might be able to arrange someone (fellow participants, that they know personally) to pick u up.

    I got this idea in one of my local tourny, serveral players who don't have a car, and living 70 miles away got a ride to be able to mak the trip.

    Why not call or email the club officers to find out instead of guessing around?

    It's on the next week, so I will have the car

    Not much difficulty in choosing between LA and a tournament :p
