Hey guys, Just wondering what you guys think of the third gen racquets compared to the second gen racquets and other racquets. I've asked the guys at Li Ning Canada about the N55iii and N90iii compared to the second gen, and they just said that it was a 'step up' from the second gen. What do you guys think ?
N90iii is much more aerodynamic than the previous N90's. It is also not that stiff as the previous N90's too. I'm not able to comment on the N55iii.

While the N90III is more aerodynamic than the II, it is also a bit less head-heavy, so their smashing power is about the same, but the III is much faster in the defense and quick drives. If you bend the N90III and II by hand, their flexiness are about the same, but during play the III feels a little bit more flexi, probably due to the faster swing speed. Of course, that is just for me (not a heavy hitter), and you may feel differently!
that's not true. BigFC pick the one you like from the third gen, they are all great. n55-III is quite head-heavy, with wet bp (strings and overgrip) of 303mm. also rather stiff (like bslyd approximately). expecting my n90-III to arrive, quite sure that it won't be less head-heavy than n90-ii. my n90-ii has wet bp of 302mm. i won't say n90-ii is flexy, it's just a bit less stiff than n55-iii, but stiffer than n55 first gen, for example. as a reference - at900p wet bp - 305mm, n55 first gen - 298, arc11 - 290mm, bslyd - 300mm. if you won't a less head-heavy one, then n50-iii will be good.
The N55III uses an Air Stream technology at the 2/10 oclock and the 5/7 oclock locations which allow for increase swing speed as the air travels through the vents. The N90III uses the 3D Breakfree technology where the frame has an aerodynamic shape allowing for increased swing speeds as well.
