I've been playing badminton for a few years, but had a five-year hiatus. I've caught the badminton fever once again and want to get back into the swing of things.

I've bought a lot of rackets during my playing days, but the AT800 Def ended up as my favorite. I've read the Panda Power thread and the Revelation sounds verrry interesting. Not to mention the look is killer.

Can anyone who've used both rackets chime in as to how they compare feel-wise?

I play MD and XD badminton only, if that helps.

    Thank you!!!

Update: I couldn't wait, so I bought the Revelation!

I'll write back in the Panda Power thread as to how it compares. :)

    What specs did you get?

Isn't the AT800 Def quite flexy? The Rev in comparison is quite stiff and heavy hitting.

Mine's 85.8g/295mm and is impressively fast and powerful for it's weight.

    I asked for an 85g 295mm version. The AT800 isn't too flexy and is a heavy 3U.

You won't find the stiffness that much different, if my limited experience recalls correctly.
You'll find that Revelation quite a bit lighter, though.

Please give us your comparison once you've had a chance to play with your new toy. :)

If you don't think the AT800 DE is moderate stiffness then you're in for a surprise with the Revelation's stiffness.

I think it will be fine, I've also used the Victor Super Waves 31 for a while. :) Unfortunately I left it overseas when I moved so I played with the AT800D more often recently.

Trust me, I have SW30, MX70/80, Rev, PPro, TPro, Trinity2. Also sold my previous VT80, VTZF.

The Rev is just a tad less stiff than the two VT, MX70 and PPro. Fortunately you picked a manageably light one so it won't be as demanding.
