Many interesting match in qf today : LYD/YYS vs KKK/TBH SN vs SJH EH vs RI FHF/HW vs CM/MB LCW vs JOJ
Both of you are correct, court 1 is TV court. I checked my EPG, LIVE program will be started on 23.00 WIB. The organizer should put Nehwal v Sung JH, I guess this match is expected more thrilling than Hirose v Intanon.
me want to watch LYD/YYS vs KKK/TBH much more than other matches, especially to see KKK/TBH get trashed again by "Koreanpairphobia"...
youtube broadcast both court 1 and 2 court 1 is TV court court 2 is broadcast extra by Badminton Denmark so you can see both Ratchanok vs Hirose and Nehwal vs Sung JH
Quarter Finals Representatives No prize for guessing which country leads the pack of 40 going into the QF for the 5 events. In fact China, with 12 representatives, are guaranteed of 3 SF appearances in MS, WS and WD. Followed by Korea and European powerhouse Denmark with 6 representatives each. KOR has WS 2, MD 1, WD 1 and XD 2, while DEN has MS 1, MD 1, WD 2 and XD 2, both equally strong in XD. JPN is in with 5 in WS 1, MD 2, WD 2, clearly its strength in the doubles. Then 2 behind with 3 representatives each are: INA with 3 in MS 1, MD 1 and XD 1, together with THA in MS 1, WS 1 and WD 1, a pleasant surprise in MS especially. Countries with 2 representatives each include: MAS with MS 1 and MD 1 and IND with MS 1 and WS 1. In MS they were guaranteed a QF showing. Coming in last but not least is ENG with XD 1. In terms of numbers, China is slated to have the most entering the SF in the various events and are sure of 3 in advance. It would appear that Denmark's chances are in MD, WD and XD together with Korea in WS, MD and XD. Thaiand with May, her recent WC champion, should have at least the WS in sight. But we should expect upsets even at this stage and that should be welcomed by many fans! I will be glued to the TV late into the night without fear of losing sleep since tomorrow is a non-working day. Enjoy yourselves!
Yes at 12 midnight on StarHub 211. I suppose this is for Singapore subscribers only. Not sure whether it is on Astro.
Isn't there a 2 court live-stream on Youtube today? Or is it simply skipping the first 2 matches on the TV-court? Judging by the score Tanongsak is playing very well.
A pulsating match between SN and SJH which SJH took 21-19 in the deciding match. Credits to both the players for bringing their best. Too bad there has to be only one winner.
Yay, SJH! I lost count of the number of times she looked like she was about to keel over in that match. She's really going to have to work on that if she wants to proceed further, IMO. No more of Nehwal lumbering around on court for the rest of this tournament, thank goodness.
