Has anyone ever sanded down a racquet to take all the paint off?

You can scrape it off. The paint will come off in flaky pieces.

My 8DX is on it's last legs, lots of chips and a potential crack. I get bored so wanted to see what it looked like nude.

I love the idea of using an equipment until to its last piece/life.

There was a thread about removing the paint. Couldn't recall the title correctly.

I once sanded my new BS-LYD... but only to repair a 1-inch paint chip! lol

Would look pretty cool playing with a bare carbon racquet though.... keep us posted on how you get on. :)

I'm undecided at the moment. I'm pretty sure there's a near fatal crack at 12 o'clock and it wont take another string job.
