Hello all, I am slightly confused about the Victor bravesword range, what are the differences between each of the model ? BS 10,11,12,15,LYD,LHI :crying::crying: Thanks in advance
Why not arrange to test them? Look on www.victor-sport.co.uk and go to the demo page. We do not carry BS10 or BS15 in UK but you can certainly test the rest so you understand the differences. Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk

I know nobody wants to follow Yonex, but they've got their nemenclature absolutely bang on: rackets are named by balance (well, most of them are). Victor names according to frame tech, which tells us nothing about how a racket will play, and Li Ning...? Best of luck divining the spec of one of theirs based solely on the name. However, there are signs that Victor are taking the hint - the Jetspeed might be shaping up to be a Nanoray-analogue, leaving the Meteors as the all-rounders and the Thrusters as the attackers.
Don't forget that Victor has the 5-dot system for the stiffness and balance on each racquet which does give you some idea of what it will be like. Although admittedly, its not perfect and there are many other factors to consider but aside from handling it physically, it is probably as good as it gets. Although some manufacturers provide BPs as well, it's probably very expensive to commit to providing for the larger companies.
Indeed, but there was a time when the stiffness index was reversed i.e. the higher the value, the more flexible the racket. They seem to have sorted it out now, though.
