    Hi,

Is there really a difference in quality between the SP/J coded bags and EX coded bags? Better material? The bag looks the same to me from the pictures online. Is it just distribution and location where it's made that separate the 2?

I just got a Yonex 9326J BT6 from HK and was wonder if it is lower quality then the 9326EX counterpart?

    Thanks

SP & EX bag is different, although not very much, just that it is noticeable. JP coded bag however are by far the best, in my opinion. The difference between SP, EX & JP are mainly in material & appearance. With that said, the bag is more solid, sturdy and long lasting. Having purchased SP bag a few years back and end up regret for buying it. My following bags have always been JP coded.

SP bags are made in China. EX bags are made in Taiwan and recently Cambodia. imho EX bags are definitely more lasting than SP bags.

IMHO, in terms of quality of yonex bags =

JP bags > EX bags > CN bags > SP bags

I have bought a few TH coded yonex bags from Thailand in the past few years and the quality is better than the SP bags imho.

Not too impress Yonex would have different versions/quality of the bags with same numbering system even if the price is lower.

The "numbering" system is different. Yours (SP) is SUNR-9326J BT6, an EX is BAG9326EX and JP is BAG1302R (in China they also sell the EX version, unless there is a local variant with different design not found elsewhere designated "CX"). Just providing options at a more appropriate price level ...
