http://www.27seagames2013.com/sports/type/badminton Found the following information on Badminton from the official website. No wonder Myanmar's badminton standard is so low among the Southeast Asian nations. They can't even get the spelling of the events right. You lucky fella! I think they wanted to drop Badminton originally. Can you imagine that! Badminton is more popular than many other games included in the SEA Games. But of course to Myanmar, it is different. But we also have BCer from Myanmar too.
Oh dear, that is a poor performance from GJ! Wonder whether she could redeem herself in G2??? Many thanks for the trouble.
Badminton Mixed Doubles result are out. JIAN Guo Ong and YIN Loo Lim of Malaysia beats FONGMALAYSENG P. and LOMANY Bouphakes of Laos. MANH Thang Dao and NHU Thao Pham of Vietnam beats DOUANGVILAY B. and VATTHANAVONG P. of Laos. AIK Quan Tan and PEI Jing Lai of Malaysia beats AUNG Than Lwin and ZAN Phu Pwint of Myanmar. SIN no hope already. Lost WS and XD. :crying: Can go and enjoy themselves in Myanmar. Good place to explore, especially the wats, like in Thailand ... Shopping cheaper also ... Sing$ stronger ... haha .
Aiya, I was thinking Gu Juan has a reasonably good chance of taking gold; now not even silver or bronze with this early elimination. So is Danny and Vanessa's loss in the XD. And Chong Wei Feng on current form looks good for a place in the final in the absence of Lee CW but he's out too. But, on the other hand, the Thai players, whoever they are, can never be under-rated. I believe the Thai WS without IR and Porntip (I assume they are not participating as I couldn't access the website) may still be the surprise winner.
