I feel I get more fingertip control with thinner grips and can change grip-style faster.

Thanks for the vote of confidence! Being fair, I will continue testing tomorrow although I'm not sure when I will complete my review. The following week i am stringing at All Englands so won't have the opportunity to continue testing until the week after.

Because most readers will require comparisons between both rackets, I need to test for longer than the 20 mintes I have currently had with these rackets!

What is your initial opinion of the 8ST so far?

ST is very nice. Without checking the specs it's easy to note PS is more head heavy than ST. Both are reasonably stiff but not too stiff. ST is a lovely looking racket and it moves really well.

My only worry with these rackets is that Victor have lowered the recommended tension. I don't understand why when they know players are demanding strong frames that will accept higher tensions. To me this was the opportunity to push for 33 with this range and set a standard for the future.

Interesting. 8ST doesn't seem much like what Shin Baek Cheol prefers given his racket history. Pretty sure I saw him using the TK9000 at the Malaysian Open.

If that's true, it'll b the second racket frm TK series used by a pro, aside frm TK-7oooS.

Nah it will be the third. The TK8000 is actively used by Bae Youn Joo as well as Chen Hung Lin and Tsai Hsia Chin

That is true. Just looking at the Korean team alone you can see a huge majority of them use either the MX 80 or the BS 12

It's always encouraging to see a professional player using a new racket such as TK9000 or Jetspeed. This provides more belief in the product.

However, whether a pro uses a particular racket or not should not you considering a purchase because it could be the perfect racket for you. Their racket requirements are different to yours and therefore in many cases it has little relevance whether a racket is used by the pros or not.

I'm still realy enjoying TK6000 when I get the chance to use it. However, none of the pros use this racket and I don't care. That fact won't make me consider the racket as any better or worse.

I can't wait to get stuck into the Jetspeed rackets and am really looking forward to delivery of TK9000.

    Teddy

Ah, give me a break. I've a list of 13 rackets to review at the moment. I can only test on Mondays as running a coaching session does not provide sufficient hitting opportunities to review a racket.

I'm next a club a week next Monday due to All Englands next week. I've already got TK7000S and both Jetspeeds in my bag so hopefully I'll have a lot to write about in a few weeks.

In the meantime, you guys will just have to be patient.

In addition to all of that, I want to write some articles for my blog. Anyone know where I can find a few days?
