Just looking at the picture without reading the title, it looks like Korea Open.

Yup, you're correct both Anand Pawar and Gao Huan have been promoted to replace Wong Wing Ki and Lee Chong Wei in main draw.

The shortest match duration, home pair only needs 13 mins to defeat Mongolian MD.
2012 World Jr Champ, Nozomi Okuhara is playing now after several months absence from international tourney.

Lee Young-dae is Victor mascot :D

I guess because none CHN badminton player sponsored by Victor.
Two SS in China this year are sponsored by Adidas and Victor, no Li Ning anymore?!

Tough for both Chan Yan Kit and Tian Houwei as they will play each other soon after their previous matches.

Same goes for Song Xue and Wei Nan.

Yup, the more fit player will win it. Xue Song secures main draw ticket, def. Wei Nan, 21-10 / 21-12.

No wonder that Li Ning replaced by others to sponsor badminton tourney.

Nozomi Okuhara in main draw after eliminated home WS, Qin Jinjing 21-19 / 10-21 / 21-18.

As I expected, Xue Song avenged his defeat on Nan Wei, so did Tian Houwei on Chan Yan Kit; they are both fast learners winning decisively.

Happy to see Nozomi back in action and eliminating a local player.

However, Vladimir Ivanov ousting Lee Dong Keun is a bit of a surprsie to me.

not really... have you seen him play at IBL ? Go Ivanov!! Although he's now up against Sho Sasaki - that will be a tough one... But not impossible at all for Vova.

Xue Song getting revenge over Nan Wei after Dutch Open - that's great. I liked how Nan Wei played at the dutch open, although it seemed he can lose concentration severely and give away a lot of cheap points.
Now Xue Song is up against Tago - that's next to impossible for Xue Song to win now, i guess.

I have moved some threads on the Li Ning issue to this thread

    Li-Ning-sponsorship-shaky

Should be quite interesting to continue the discussion on that thread

Frankly, I'm aware of the potential of some of the Russian players, Ivanov and Malkov, and it's good. IIRC, it was Ivanov who gave Wang ZM a hard time at this year's WC. I think it's a matter of time one or the other breaks into the top 10, more likely Ivanov.
