Carlton have introduced updated Vapour Trail rackets in 2013.
There are three revised rackets featuring "Vectran": VT Elite - head heavy, very stiff, VT Tour - even balanced, medium flex and VT S-lite - head light, flexible.

The specs of the new rackets appear slightly changed comparing with their 2011 versions: The Elite is slightly flexier, Tour and S-lite slightly stiffer. There are some significant differences in weight too.

Please feel free to write your impressions or reviews!

I've owned both 2011 and 2013 models of the VTT . I think in reality, you won't really notice the stiffness between the two.

However what made the difference was that the weight of the 2013 version is ideal for me. My 2011 was I think around 95g with Rkep g09 over original grip. The 2013 with almost the same setup was closer to 91g. Note my kinesis x70 is 1g heavier but has thicker strings.

Now the 2011 is sold and I alternate between the kinesis x70 and VTT 2013.

Anothee potential bargain is the carlton vapour extreme xcel. Looks to have all the same technology and spec as the VTT 2013, but has isometric head and is half the cost on sports direct!

Glad to hear the VTT 2013 is lighter. The 2011 version is only 2g heavier than 2009 version but it feels much slower. My VTT2011 is 96g and has a BP of 300mm... as heavy swing as Victor meteors.

On specs the difference between 2011 and 2013 VTT is 1g, but in the real world difference was at least 4g, which could be the reason for the difference in speed. Another thing I've just remembered, is the 2013 (about 7.6mm) shaft is 0.1 to 0.2mm slimmer than the 2011 version (~7.8mm).

Measurements are what I remembered them to be, because I no longer have the 2011 version.
