To be perfectly honest, I'm surprised it took this long.

On the Victor site it shows the spec as being 3/5 for stiffness, but on the racket response indicator it's nearly the maximum for stiffness. So which one is it, stiff or medium??http://www.victorsport.com/product_detail_11496.html

IMO, the stiffness rating for TK-9ooo should b 4/5.

Ant - this racket plays stiffer than a 3/5. Not quite sure how the original stiffness rating is calculated but I always go by the RRI as this tends to be more accurate. For example, the JS 8 ST is stiffer according to specs, but playing with both there is no way on this earth it is one point stiffer than the TK9000.I believe the TK9000 has a slightly shorter shaft which may have something to do with it, plus the Nano Fortify material makes it feel stiffer.

If it helps, I would put it between the VT80 and VTZF. Definitely stiffer than the TK6000, but not as stiff as, say, a Meteor 80.

I'm not acutally sure what the RRI indicates... if it's sheer power, though, it's bang on as far as the TK9000 is concerned.

OK - it appears I reviewed this thing to early.

After playing literally the session of my life today, I'm changing the power rating to 10/10 and the defence to 9/10 - I was nearly putting holes in some of my opponents, and almost nothing got past me.

The TK9000 is a bucket-list racket if ever there was one.

Mark - so if you used a 3U TK9000 then the power would be over 10/10?

Sounds like you just had a good session Mark. You would have done the same with a wooden racket hehe. If the racket was so good, why aren't more pros using it? Oh wait, that's because they are too good anyway right hehe.

Holy sh... moly - I'd put the KRP version of the BS12 at least one notch stiffer than the stock version; a 5/4 TK9000 would be very... interesting.
