What is your question? Is the racquet real or fake? Well I'm no expert, but look in the sellers feedback. There is something suspicious. Someone bought an AT700 which was described as Made in Japan. Also bought a Yonex bag. The feedback mentions a problem with ebay feedback, so it's hard to know what was really supposed to be posted. It looks like there was a complaint about the racquet not being JP but having a TH code. And a complaint about the bag which was later withdrawn. Shipping cost looks too high to me. In the UK it would be under 10 USD. But that might be a sign of a genuine seller making a low margin and trying to bump up profit through the shipping price. The pictures (including the other items he has for sale) look like one's he has taken rather than copied from Yonex web-site. The plastic wrapping on the handles looks good It's hard to make out much detail in the pictures, but the MP-100 looks very much like a genuine UK one that I have. Again, though, I'm no expert.
thanks does anyone else have anymore information about this racket and if its real or not? anyone have any experience with the seller on ebay "sumai03" ? legitmate seller or not?
I've been following this seller recently, as I was interested about several of his badminton shirts. So far, his rackets look real to me, however, without close-up pictures, it's hard to be 100% sure. If you are serious, maybe u can email him to provide close up pictures (show butt cap, shaft/cone serial#, head frame), etc. Seems his a reputable dealer, only has 2 neg. feedback (and 1 of them was a mistake). For the one with TH code, well, the US code is retailed for US$200+ in most local stores. Like I metioned in some other threads, buying other code racket is like "will u take the risk of warranty for some $$$ saving". Some ppl might say yeah, some might not. If you really want to find out, maybe email him to ask which code is that (but all of them are MADE IN JAPAN). For shipping, well, it's quite expensive here, especially if u add other services such as insurance, delivery notice, etc. Or, it's also possible, he can use the S&H to gain a little bit more profit.
1. There are rumors about certain code(s) have better quality over others. Personally, I don't think so. 2. US ones are warrantied by Yonex US, which the oversea ones are not. However, some dealer/seller has their own store warranty, etc. If this is ur main concern, u need to ask the seller for sure.

the racquet and racquet bad looks genuine as far as I can tell, and he does sell quite a few sports related items. If you are unsure, ask him some questions (what's the serial number, closer photos, etc.) If it's genuine he should not hesitate to accomodate your request. He mentions that they are genuine, and we can infer from that that he is willing to prove it.
the seller is from thailand the delivery was made from bangkok, thailand to Los Angeles, CA.. he sent on friday 2/6/04 and it arrived today 2/11/04... also made in japan...fairly fast for an overseas delivery.. it looks fine to me..I can't really read the thai invoice though =X
I don't know really... i dunno but i don't think there is a selection for thailand.. i'm not familiar with ebay..
Some sellers have "warehouses" all over the world (As long as it's a real one, it shouldn't matter then.)
He's a reliable seller, and responds to all his email. Just be aware that his racquets are from Thailand with the regional code "TH", and be expected for your racquet to arrive in a week.
I bought an AT700 from him about two months ago. You can rest assure that his racquets are real, although they have "TH" on the serial.(Thailand). Buying the AT700 from him is a lot cheaper but the catch is that you don't get a warranty if u're not in thailand.
haven't bought racquets from him, but his bags are authentic. he is pretty pricy though...as far as ebay goes.
