Has any one tried the asics blast 5 at all and can leave a comment on it?
I've tried searching here and online for a while now and can't seem to find any reviews or much information on it

I've been debating between the blast 5 because my friend told me ascis shoes are pretty good for badminton and the babolat shadow 2 (because another friend said they were pretty good as well)

also i can get the ascis for $150 and the babolat for $100, so I just cursious as to how good the blast 5 is cause I am willing to spend more for a better quality shoe if that's the case.

My old shoes were the yonex shb-86, victor ace-9000 and adidas bt feather. All of which I had no problems with except the victor ace I found was a little bit lacking in cushioning (but not that a big a deal for me)

Yonex shoe always more comfy if compared to Asics shoe.
I switch from SHB01 to GelBlast5. totally different shoe. definitely can feel gelblast is alot tougher material and harder to bend. where as Yonex shoe is more spongy and flexy. :)

Gel beyond and gel blade is better for badminton.

Just got a pair of Gel Blast 5.
    1. Very good grip; better than YY.
    2. Gel Blast 5 can use a little more cushioning (heel area).
    3. It is less painful for the toe on deep lunge. Got bruise on toe nail with YY, not with Gel Blast 5.
    4. Better movement, especially abruptly changing direction.
