    It used to be that Lee CW starts any match in the early rounds of any tournament in a blistering pace leaving his opponents far behind. Nowadays he plays like a slow starter, taking his time to warm-up. Or more to conserve energy ? But playing more rallies or 3-setters has the reverse effect, isn't it? Perhaps, it is something else - your guess is as good as mine.

    Good move. Just doing the minimum to win. Turn on the turbo when needed.

    There won't be a loss from LCW tomorrow. This is Malaysia we're dealing with here, not China.

    Ouseph has undoubtedly improved; first Chen Long was nearly sent packing and now Du. Good to see a player blossoming at a relatively late age; guess coach Jonassen wasn't of such great help after all. Let's hope he can shake things up a bit more here.

    Meanwhile, good to see that Germany has taken it in the mixed doubles.
