And ya, I'd be treated like an absolute king at home for the next couple of days at least...!
At least you got two days, I didn't get even 2 minutes. But keep in mind that those 2 days are loan, you have to pay back somehow.

You should realize that females are more verbally "gifted" than males...

So any discussion or argument with one is not advisable.

It took me over 20 years of marriage to understand what you just said.

    More tips.

Keep your mouth shut when you disagree. Don't open your mouth even if you agree. Just don't say anything that she can use against you later. Don't commit yourself on anything. Always leave a small lane no matter how small. Cheers.

i have played badminton with my then girlfriend now fiance twice and we fought afterward, twice. since then we've decided to not play too competitively, and she noticed my attitude changed drastically that she no longer gets upset at me. i guess it was my fault all along.

Wow. I used to think I was unlucky that my wife doesn't like sports.
But after reading this thread, I am thankful that we only share interests that don't involve potential violence. (Haven't injured each other yet at a restaurant or a theatre)

the idea, i gathered, from this thread is that ultimately your marriage is more important than badminton, good to know, i always thought it could be the other way around but now i'm convinced

No, sorry not the case at all, just that she is better at coping with pain!
