Thx Rick, btw... it comes in lik a spray can rite? so u can spray the paint on... or do you gotta use brush?
i thot they come in a roll-on style container, like men deodorant. You wouldn't have problem using it
oh come on, don't buy them. Usually, Yonex rackets would come with a Logo pad, which you can use regular ink to paint your strings. Usually I go to stores, and I see stores just trash those pads like nothing.
That's exactly my girlfriend just said!! She wants the Snoopy on the string.....but I don't know how to do that
Why not make your own stencil? You could use paper or cardboard. I've always wanted to psych people out coming on court in Full Yonex gear and the logo on my blue strings. But then people would just laugh after seeing how badly I play. Not to mention that buying yonex shirts and shorts, to my mind, aren't worth the expense. And I don't like Yonex grip.
Yah... that's y i was jus askin for the paint... I was thinking soemthing lik a birdie or some other weird pics... see wut i can come up wif
I only remember them having at least red and black. They could have more though. Just give them a ring or something. -Rick
Can you tell the difference between blue and black though? Unless you are looking for some very bright or light blue, the difference between the two colours might not be that noticible on the string bed. -Rick
yah, actually I am looking for a lighter blue... light baby blue to be exact. I jus didn't want black because I am thinking of going black strings next time I can find some cheap. Red is ok, but I dont want just one color... hoping to get blue/white so i can do a bit of custom mixing myself too... so one color fades into the other or something liek that I like the string colors to be dark and the design on it to be light... so it kinda looks lik there's a peice of the string missing? I dunno... jus think that would look sweet
Re: craft stores.... String manufacturers tend to frown upon using just any kind of paint on racquet strigns though. They claim that certain solvents in the paint will corrode or otherwise damage the strings. There is probably at least some truth to this, so playability and/or durability might (or would?) be compromised. -Rick
