    I am so devotee of Bad-Mint-On ...;)
    Does anyone in Sydney have desire to join me to start a venture to build Badminton Court:D

    Also is there any Group specific to Sydney or Australia..

    Looking for someone who has the same passion as need to prepare a business plan
    Not sure worth investing (have to get financed) atleast if meet breakpoint

    Yes, I think it is worth investing as there are more ppl interested in playing badminton but badminton courts are limited.

    I think location is very important too, right location will be one of the most important success factors!

    Are there regular player groups in Sydney? Difficult to find discussions here like in Singapore. I maybe moving to Sydney in few months and need my regular dose of Badminton !

    Hi, dont worry....You have several places like Sydney Olympic Park wherein people play in week days and weekend as well.
    Once you land sydney let me know will help with contacts to start

    Just curious, how are the courts there? Tournament grade or Wooden floor? And what are the approx booking cost for 1 hour session?

    it depends like sydney olympic is tournament and most cubs/schools have wooden.
    all r in good condition .
    Regarding cost it depends
    if you go thru clubs u need to pay annual fees wherein the club books and invite you to play in specific days like Tuesdays from 8 to 10 pm likewise...some clubs play every Wednesday
    the other thing is u can book online in sydney olympic park cost for 1 hr is 23 AUD
    it all depends wwhich clubs you join...which suburb to settle here...which court is nearby likewise
    I think once u land it wuld be easier for u to interpret than getting confused now

    Aussie Sydney badminton club play every Sunday 10am-12pm at Macquarie University Sport & Aquatic Centre.

    Just to come in to say "Hi to all". :):):)

    I was the one who first started the Sunday 10am-12pm at Macquarie University Sport & Aquatic Centre (some 40 years' ago).

    Looks like many changes have been made since then.
