It is one of the better chance for other countries to step up to the plate and delivery. I am hoping for an exciting TC, ideally CHN vs INA,or, MALA, or KOR down to the fifth match. Another CHN domination will not help badminton.

why CL only has 75,255 points instead of 80,035 points ?
if we look back to the ranking date per 7th March 2013, it include German open result.

from my calculation, China should be the #1 seed in Thomas Cup with 307k points...it's about 13,000 points ahead of Indonesia

I was just about to update the thread a couple of days ago and the Korean b***** it all up!

Anyway, for the Thomas Cup the top 4 seeds should still be the same as in INA, CHN, MAS and JPN. KOR will be in the third group of seeding (9-12) that should still a threat to some unlucky teams.

Imagine, we would have MAS, DEN and KOR in the same group!

Korea Thomas Cup team will be severally weaken without LYD and KKJ. This opens up the door for Ko SH. Let's see how their appeal goes in Feb against the 1 year ban

It comes down to the match-ups I suppose - for example I think Malaysia matches up quite well with China (LCW + two men doubles is quite probable), but once China is knocked out every team stands a good chance. I can see Malaysia getting beaten by Indonesia, Denmark or Japan after that.

if MAS still not gonna improve their mens single department, they will gonna fall to any countries including CHN, INA, JPN, IND, THA & TPE, however it will be 50-50 against DEN & KOR...
